I have been a keen follower of your blog and also other writings.
Today I happened to read your article about the stalwarts of Malayalam
cinema in that article you have mentioned that Modern theatres T R
Sundaram as an iyer in fact he is a Mudaliar not an iyer. From your
article i learnt that it is also mentioned in that film which is
grossly untrue. T R stands for Tiruchengode Ramalingam. He belongs to
a wealthy family of Textile mill owners. He was educated in Leeds
England. Everyone in Tamilnadu knows he is a senguntha mudaliar and i
was wondering how he has converted to iyer that too posthumously.
Kindly check before giving such information. Why Malayattoor should
support a Mudaliar, he might have though a Tamil mudaliar is better
that nadar christian. Any way kindly check the facts before writing
such article.. But otherwise this one is a wonderful and a
pathbreaking article.
Most of the information and which you have given would be new to tamil readers.

Warm Regards

Dear Sir,

Good morning. Hope you are doing good.
Today morning, I read your article “Celluloid” in your site. Surprised about J.C Daniel Nadar, as he was born in Agasteeswaram. I am also from the same locality.

To know more about him, I did a search in Wikipedia. It shows like he was born in Neyyatrinkara. Please refer this wiki page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JC_Daniel
I just want to bring it to your notice.

Apart from this,

I use to read your website everyday. Read your Novels, “Iravu, Ulogam, Anal kaatru” and more. My favourite short stories are Madan, motcham, Mathagam, Olai chiluvai.
Bought the Novel “Vishnupuram” in this book fair, started to read the same.

Best Regards,
Ponraj M
